Dr. Darrell L. Sydnor

Dr. Darrell L. Sydnor Sr. was born in Richmond, Virginia. He is a Distinguished Military 

Graduate of Tuskegee University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Business Management, 

Masters of Business Administration from Central Michigan University and a graduate from the Minnesota Graduate School of Theology with a Doctorate of Ministry in Pastoral Care.

He has served as the pastor of The Rock MBC/ Rock of Faith MBC in Indianapolis for 14 years. He founded and served as the pastor of the Warrior’s Den Fellowship in Arifjan, Kuwait prior to reassignment in Indianapolis.  A retired US Army Officer, Dr. Sydnor is a compassionate, hands-on pastor that strives to know, develop and lead each member to spiritual, emotional, mental, financial and psychological obedience to the principles of God through practical Bible application.

Dr. Sydnor is a humble servant of the kingdom who works hard to serve the entire community at large. He is the CEO of Life Line Ministries Inc., has served as the Vice Moderator of the Union District Association of Missionary Baptist Churches of Indianapolis, Awardee of 2015 Mayoral Community Service Award, 2016 Radio One Indianapolis Hometown Champion Awardee, 2016 Union District Association Mission Worker of the Year and Fox 59 October 2016 Community Hero of the Month and Sunday Scholl Publishing Board 2019 Midwest Regional Instructor of the Year. He is consistently active in the city of Indianapolis serving the community.  Dr. Sydnor is an active Dean and Instructor for the Congress of Christian Education, has served as President of Young Pastors and Ministers Division and enthusiastically supports ministry to the city of 

Indianapolis.

Pastor Sydnor and his lovely wife of 35 years, Lady Cora, are the proud parents of four 

children: Darrell Jr., Amber, Tierra and Stephen with two grandchildren: Deborah and 

Jamison.
